Marc Joly writes, "I was able to meet B.B.
King personally on April 25, 1996 in Kamloops, B.C., Canada. I
found him to be a complete and total gentleman! The picture was
taken with BB, myself and my 2 year old son (bluseman in training)
- what a treasure!!!"
Louis Schroder took this photo of B.B. King at
the 1993 Blues Summerfest at the Garden State arts center in New
Jersey. Louis asks, "Is that the greatest smile in showbiz
or what?!"
For those of you who have wondered who I am,
this is me (Jim Kerekes - Worldblues webmaster) with B.B. on his
tour bus after the 1996 Blues Fest Tour's Labor Day show. Read my

A very impressive collection by Gonzalo, a fan
from Spain. Gonzalo writes "I like B.B. King, but only a
little."

Walden's Books on Oct 22, 1996 in Lewisville, Texas, one of B.B.'s
stops on his recent book signing tour.

This is a photo of the great man, Mr. B.B
King and myself. It was taken after his show in Manchester,
England back at the end of April 1999.
He is the friendliest person I have ever had the good fortune to
meet. I had waited to meet B.B for many years and couldn’t
believe I was actually stood next to the great man!
He was so kind to sign my guitar and one of my photos and also
posed for a couple of photos with me. It will be a night that I
will never forget and I can’t wait to see BB again at
Hammersmith Odeon on 29th June.
