B.B. King visits Marbella, Spain

As you can see, I was able to enter at the concert with my camera. I wasn't sure because the ticket said that it's prohibited to enter with cameras, it´s silliness. There was a lot of police and security people, but I had less problems than I did at the Robert Cray concert in Madrid. These are the 3 best pictures from the show. I know that they are not wonderful, but to me they are a good souvenir from this concert.

B.B., like always, had a marvelous concert. At the beginning of the show, his amplifier crashed, but that didn´t impede anything. They quickly changed the amplifier, and B.B. put on a beautiful demonstration of how the guitar must be played, even with a different amp! I did notice that B.B.'s nephew, Walter King, wasn´t at the show. In his place was another trumpeter, but I didn't get his name.

The intro of Whole Lotta Lovin', with it's Elmore James like riffs, showed that B.B. still has all his power. My three favorite songs at the show were: Darling You Know I Love You, Rock Me Baby and The Thrill Is Gone. The whole show was great with B.B. playing a lot of guitar, singing strong and joking like always. I was able to catch a pin at the finale, another treasure for my collection.

The next day I found out that B.B. was signing autographs in his hotel during the afternoon. That´s a pity for me, as a friend and I spent all day bored in Marbella! This is the fourth time I've seen B.B. in concert, but I still want more and more!
